Hey, anybody wanna see the Frost Toes training schedule? Well, click here.
You'll see that we'll have group runs every Saturday beginning Oct.3 with the Second Annual Heroes Run for Hope. Don't forget to register! This is a fun run and it's a fund raiser, so you're helping others as well as yourself.
The following Saturday, Oct. 10, we meet at CMT at 7 am sharp. What's CMT? It's Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc., an engineering firm. They've graciously allowed us to use their parking lot for our staging and finishing area on Saturday mornings. Be nice--don't litter, don't deface the property, and if you fall and hurt yourself, don't sue them.
Their Springfield office is at the corner of Washington and Durkin Drive, which is just a block east of Veterans Parkway. Very easy to find.
Tuesday nights we'll be in Washington Park for hill and pace workouts led my, well, me. We'll see how that goes. Thursdays everyone is on their own.
I'm getting pretty psyched about all this. Hope you are too!

i'm READY and hopefully bringing some new little faces with me! joy
Little faces with BIG ol' smiles?
Barry, I actually can't run with the group on the 10th, but will plan to be down there just to show people where to park, etc. We're all heading up for the big Chicago Marathon on the 10 a.m. Amtrak!
What's a "Chicago Marathon"?
Ooops, the 6:33 a.m. Amtrak...I guess I won't be there. :(
Barry, Glad to have you back!
I am registered for Sat. Heroes for Hope Run. I am new but encouraged. I hope to get involved with Frost toes also. M.R informed me about both events, I am grateful she did. Can't wait to meet you all. Have no account so I will sign here - Mary
Can you tell me if there are any runners at the 14 min pace who train with the group??
There are all speeds, moving forward, come out and try it out!
Melanie
