We Got Our Frost On!

Well, Saturday's run was pretty amazing. We had a great crowd of enthusiastic runners, some of whom were worried that they couldn't run 5 whole miles. Some of you haven't run that far since Abe's Amble.

And you went out and did it. Congratulations!

If you've got any thoughts on the run, please feel free to post a comment. Let everyone know what you thought.

Tuesday night at 5:30 is a run that will be led by Dwayne Blisset. We'll run in Washington Park, starting from the shelter near the playground equipment. See you there!

Countdown to Frost!

Just a few days left before we begin the Frost Toes journey! I'm looking forward to seeing the crowd we have at Panera West on Saturday, Sept 29. Remember, we're planning to begin running at 7 am.

I thought we'd start with an easy run on the Wabash trail. We'll go south from Panera, get on the trail, run east to the picnic tables where I'll have water set out, then back to Panera. It's a little over 5 miles. Easy!

Here's a link to the route:

It's all flat and a perfect way to get started again for anyone who's taken time off since Abe's Amble. Yeah, that includes me. See you Saturday!

FROST WARNING!

Watch out for frost in less than three weeks!

We'll get together at Panera West for a short talk about what the Frost Toes is all about, pass out the official Frost Toes training schedule, and start gathering everyone's name and contact info.

Then we'll take a nice 5-mile run to start things off.

If you want to help reduce paperwork, feel free to email your contact information to me. I'd like your name, phone number, address, email address, and the name and phone number of at least one emergency contact.

See you September 29!
