Countdown to Frost!

Just a few days left before we begin the Frost Toes journey! I'm looking forward to seeing the crowd we have at Panera West on Saturday, Sept 29. Remember, we're planning to begin running at 7 am.

I thought we'd start with an easy run on the Wabash trail. We'll go south from Panera, get on the trail, run east to the picnic tables where I'll have water set out, then back to Panera. It's a little over 5 miles. Easy!

Here's a link to the route:

It's all flat and a perfect way to get started again for anyone who's taken time off since Abe's Amble. Yeah, that includes me. See you Saturday!

Hey Barry, this is Pam. I have a friend who would like to know if you have a walk/run program also.

Thanks,
Pamela

Hey Pam, I haven't made any specific plans to help people walk/run the Frostbite route, but your friend is always welcome to join us. Is this person looking for a group that has structured walk/run workouts like they did during Abe's Army?

I'm looking forward to the Frost Toes first run, too. This should be fun. And remember, your leader on Tuesday and Thursday nights will be Dwayne Blisset.

I finally decided to quit lurking on the blog and actually join in.

I look forward to the Frost Toes program but unfortunately will miss the first few Saturday runs.

Have a good run on Saturday and see you next week.

Has an email been sent around to all the Abe's Army leaders and recruits to remind them of the Frost Toes?

Anne, all I can say is that I haven't sent an email to everyone that was in Abe's Army. I don't think I had a list of all the emails.

If you're volunteering, well, you go girl!

Hmmm...I don't know if a master list of all the recruits even exists. It might cause the internet to melt down. I will check with Linda J.

I've just seen the message about communicating with the Abe's leaders and sent out an email. Sorry so late!

P.S. We do not maintain a master list of recruits. The closest thing to that we have would be to put a message on the Abe's blogspot which would go out in the weekly email for anyone who has signed up for that service.
